Owen Brown, Artistic Director and CEO of Bread & Wine Theatre Company of St. Louis, MO, has been elected to the Thornton Wilder Society Board of Directors. Owen contributed an article to Volume 6.1/.2 of the Thornton Wilder Journal (“Time, Death, and the Bayards: A Comparative Analysis of the Opera Libretto of The Long Christmas Dinner and the Play”), has another article and a solicited response to Wilder’s early play The Dreamers forthcoming in Issue 7.1, is a featured speaker at the CSLSC Summer Conference on Thornton Wilder (see April 19, 2026 post below), and is presenting a paper as part of the Thornton Wilder session at the 2026 CDC (see January 31, 2026 post below). He also produced and directed a production of Wilder’s The Long Christmas Dinner for Bread & Wine, December 2025. Welcome and keep up the good work, Owen!
