The C.S. Lewis Study Center and Bread & Wine Theatre Company are co-sponsoring a two-day conference entitled “Something Eternal”: Thornton Wilder on Time, Death, and Faith.
This event will take place at the C.S. Lewis Study Center in Northfield, Massachusetts, on June 12th and 13th, 2026.
The featured speakers are:
- Thornton Wilder Society Board of Directors member and Thornton Wilder Journal Co-editor Lincoln Konkle,
- Artistic Director and CEO of Bread & Wine Theatre Company of St. Louis, MO, Owen Brown,
- and C.S. Lewis Study Center’s Vice President for Academic Initiatives Scott B. Key.
In addition to their talks with Q&A after, there will be special presentations of two Thornton Wilder one-act plays: The Long Christmas Dinner and Pullman Car Hiawatha.
